There has been a lot of interest in the chilling weeks of late so here is a little more information about them.
What are our Chilling Weeks?
We run chilling weeks and long weekends together with our challenging weeks here at Cycle Retreats to ensure there is something for every rider. Chilling weeks and 4-day trips take is some of the most scenic and exhilarating routes Costa Blanca has to offer.
Typically we ride 60km – 80km a day and while this may sound a lot we have all day to cover the distance. We ride at your pace without the worry of timescales and pressures of everyday life, we take care of everything so all you need to do is relax and enjoy the stunning cycling and scenery. All guided tours have a support vehicle on call if you choose to head back early. We have many coffee stops in the most scenic and traditional cafés; typically the maximum you will ride at any one go is 1hr and 30 minutes before stopping for refreshments or lunch. We take in some of the most scenic coastal routes which are much more gentle in terms of elevation typically we ride around 500m to 1200m of gently climbing and rolling roads throughout the day.
What else do our Chilling Weeks include?
- Group bookings (6-8 riders) have the ability to bespoke their cycling itinerary and choose the routes for the week with our help to ensure you get the most out of your time at Cycle Retreats.
- Rest day on the 7-day trip where we can organise other activities, wine tasting, dip in the ocean, paddle boarding, massages etc to refresh the body and mind
- Bike hire for you which will be ready for you upon arrival.
- We have muster points along the route but we have found that the group tends to pull together and support one another, it’s what I love to see and is one of the really rewarding parts of the ride for me.
Safe riding and hope you join us at Cycle Retreats.
